Therapy Services

Our specialized staff provide a variety of therapy services for students. Therapy can be provided during our early childhood school day or by appointment, depending on the child’s placement and individualized education plan (IEP).

Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Behavior Team
Our behavior team includes a behavior analyst and three specially trained paraprofessionals. This team works to reinforce positive behavior and reduce behaviors that can be harmful. The methodology that the BCBA and the Behavior Team specialize in currently is called Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)

Physical Therapy
Physical therapists help children learn to perform gross motor skills and functional mobility skills, like crawling, walking, running, jumping. Therapists also work with kids on balance and coordination and adaptive play.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help people participate in the things they want and need to do. In an early childhood setting, occupational therapists help children with disabilities or developmental delays participate fully in school.

Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide therapy that stimulates language development, builds language skills, and improves articulation. Much of speech therapy is done through age-appropriate play. It’s targeted to the needs of the individual child. SLPs can also provide oral-motor, feeding and swallowing therapy.
