Home - Mehlville Early Childhood

Mehlville School District’s Early Childhood Program provides a variety of services to families with children from birth to age 5. Parents as Teachers offers parent support and special events. Early childhood education is offered to children ages 3-5 at the John Cary Early Childhood Center and at several elementary schools in Mehlville School District. Additionally, the Mehlville Early Childhood Program provides therapies and evaluations for children with developmental and other disabilities that reside within Mehlville School District.

WonderWorks gives little ones the opportunity to participate in fun activities at a “big kid school.” WonderWorks gives adults the opportunity to build relationships with neighbors and learn how simple activities and interactions build readiness for preschool and kindergarten.

POG Mehlville Early Childhood is part of Mehlville School District. The Mehlville School District mission is to build a high-performing school system rooted in the community's desire to build a culture of improvement for staff and students. Mehlville School District believes that all of our graduates should be creative and critical thinkers, self-aware, persistent, communicators, and ethical and global. We call this our Portrait of a Graduate.

Located in south St. Louis County, Mehlville School District encompasses all or part of the unincorporated communities of Mehlville, Oakville, Concord and Lemay. Through its dedication to providing institutional excellence, fiscal responsibility and community benefit, our fully accredited district serves the educational needs of about 10,000 children in a community of about 96,000 residents within 42 square miles.
